Tucked into the snowfields of Myoko, Japan - Miyuki Mountain Lodge is a place where long days on the mountain give way to something just as good — warmth and comfort that makes a group feel instantly at home.
The lodge sleeps up to 20 guests across eight bedrooms, making it one of the most generously sized private rentals in the region. It's designed for groups who want to be together — a ski crew, a family reunion, retreat or friends who've been planning this trip for years. There's room to spread out, and reason to gather.
Myoko is one of Japan's great powder destinations, receiving over ten metres of snowfall each season and sitting within easy reach of multiple interconnected ski resorts. A Shinkansen journey of around two and a half hours from Tokyo puts you firmly in the mountains, and once you're here, the world slows down in exactly the right way.
We're in the process of renovating the lodge with care — keeping the warmth of a mountain home while adding the finishes and comfort that make your stay feel genuinely special.
Whether it's your first winter in Japan or your tenth, we think you'll feel it from the moment you arrive.

Our vision for the newly refurbished lodge is clear; deep burgundy, dark greens, soft neutrals and pops of colour — a dramatically enveloping scheme. Rich dark joinery, bold artwork and a sense of gathering.

Bedrooms & Sleeping
Eight bedrooms sleeping up to 20 guests in total. A mix of room configurations to suit groups of varying sizes — from couples to large families and ski crews. Two master suites with private ensuites provide a little extra comfort for those who want it.
Dining Room & Kitchen
A generous dining room designed to bring the whole group together. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to cook up après-ski feasts, whether that's a simple noodle situation or you invite a chef to prepare a full group dinner. There's a reason the dining table tends to become the heart of any stay here.
Drying Room & Ski Storage
A dedicated basement drying room means wet boots, gloves, and base layers are sorted before you even think about them. Ski rack storage keeps gear organised and off the living areas — a small thing that makes a big difference on a back-to-back ski day.
Heating & Comfort
The lodge is equipped with split-system air conditioners providing heating throughout, supplemented by a kerosene heater in the entry areas. You'll be warm the moment you walk through the door.

Miyuki Mountain Lodge is located on a 2,000 sqm block with beautiful trees, a stream and mountain views. Only a 5 min drive from Myoko main street where you can find restaurants, bars, ski rental stores and shops.
Myoko is well know for it’s beauty, excellent ski and snowboarding facilities, hot springs (onsen), summer hiking, and pristine nature including lakes and mountains.
